Dedicated to serving IT professionals and decision makers, Network Computing focuses on helping readers understand, select and incorporate network applications to suit their enterprise needs. Winners of the 2005 Well-Connected Awards were selected by the publication's expert editorial staff who worked at length to research and test technology products over the course of the year. The staff selected the winners based on evaluations of networking products, as well as editors' choices for the past 12 months.

These awards take the pulse of the technology industry and reflect the best of what IT has to offer," said Fritz Nelson, Vice President and Group Publisher of the Network Computing Enterprise Architecture Group. "This is an important distinction from any other award program ¨C the products selected in the Well-Connected Awards are unique because they have been graded with the same criteria IT professionals use to make purchasing decisions ¨C truly the most outstanding products and services available."
