Oracle Opens Registration for Oracle® OpenWorld San Francisco 2005

Oracle OpenWorld, PeopleSoft Connect and Retek World Conferences Have Now Merged to Create Industry's Top Forum for Customers and Partners
Oracle today announced that registration for Oracle( OpenWorld
San Francisco 2005, to be held September 17-22 at the Moscone
Center in San Francisco, has opened. This year, the Oracle
OpenWorld, PeopleSoft Connect and Retek World conferences
have merged into one, integrated event - including all of
the content that was available at previous Oracle OpenWorld
shows along with content for PeopleSoft Enterprise, JD Edwards
EnterpriseOne, JD Edwards World and Retek customers.
The event will feature six days of intensive educational
programming for business and IT professionals, customers,
and partners and showcase the complete Oracle story using
the full stack of Oracle technology and applications. Additionally,
this year's event will include an impressive line up of
industry leaders from Accenture; Advanced Micro Devices,
Inc.; Capgemini; Fujitsu Group; HP; Intel Corporation; Network
Appliance, Inc.; Oracle; and Sun Microsystems, Inc.
"Oracle OpenWorld offers our customers and partners
a one-stop, highly-charged, educational experience to learn
about the latest solutions that address their business needs,"
said Karen Gainey, vice president of Global Events at Oracle.
"This year we are excited to reach out to Oracle, PeopleSoft
and Retek users to share our vision and strategy for obtaining
the most up-to-date and accurate information from their
business systems."
This highly anticipated event, which attracted more than
25,000 attendees last year, will showcase over 900 technical,
business and industry focused sessions and feature more
than 250 Oracle partner solutions on the exhibition floor.
The conference will also include:
* OpenWorld Extreme, an intensive, two-day experience that
will kick off the event, providing deep, drill-down sessions
on our applications and technology;
* Over the weekend, we will also host Oracle, JD Edwards
and PeopleSoft User Group sessions;
* Exhibits 360, offering an all-encompassing environment
to explore, network and purchase the latest solutions from
Oracle and our partners;
* Oracle DEMOgrounds featuring over 170 Oracle product demonstrations
where attendees can get an inside look at Oracle products,
technologies, and services, and;
* Hands-on labs offering in-depth technology training on
Oracle technology including Oracle database, application
server, application development tools, business intelligence
and data warehouse.
